Holiday Shopping on Champs-Élysées

It’s the season to shop and Paris is filled with the holiday spirit. What better place to do that than on one of the most famous blocks in the world?

Many don’t realize the huge variety of the offerings on Avenue des Champs-Élysées, making it the perfect place to do all of your shopping at once, whether you are looking to purchase a $100,000 sports car, a $20 scarf, or both. It’s all there, with extended hours until the new year.

Designers
You won’t find a shortage of designer duds on Champs-Élysées. Purchase a stunning designer wardrobe, pocketbook or other accessories at any number of stores. Expect to be pampered by the fashionistas while you shop on this block at places such as Dior, Louis Vitton (which has its biggest store in the world here), Fendi and Gucci.

Ultra Luxury
Head to the Swarovski store for some stunning, custom crystal jewelry. The store is dressed up for the holidays with a Christmas tree that’s two meters high and has hundreds of Swarovski stars hanging from it. If you happen to be in Paris for a new car, learn all about Peugot, Ferrari, Renault and other top brands while strolling the avenue.

Chain Stores
You may be in Paris, but chances are your five year old nephew cares more about Toy Story than Cartier. Don’t worry, you’re covered. There’s a Disney Store on Avenue des Champs-Élysées, as well as like H&M, Sephora, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch and Nike.

Avenue des Champs-Élysées runs over one mile long so shopping can be a daunting task when you are trying to navigate your way around a long distance. Come prepared by taking advantage of the street’s own website, where you can see store listings, maps and note places to stop for a morning café au lait or afternoon quiche at a brasserie. If for some reason you actually want a break from French food, Champs-Élysées has a host of other ethnic restaurants, including Indian, Italian, South American and Japanese.
